Where creativity calls
About O Rose limited edition artist's print
She is a monoprint painting developed by Julie Anne Denton during the visual research for a diptych of glass sculptures called "O Rose - The chorus and the protagonist". O Rose is inspired by the book 'Songs of Innocence & Songs of Experience' written by the 18th/19th Century English visionary artist William Blake. Blake is a very important Romantic visionary whose poem 'Jerusalem' from 'The Prophetic Books' is considered England's second National Anthem. It was turned into a hymn set to music by Sir Hubert Parry in 1916
