ZGS founder Dr Julie Anne Denton courses
Crammed with invaluable early learner lessons, this course features twelve lampworking demos—including Owl on a mandrel, Owl with mistakes, Elephant, Elephant troubleshooting, Simple Penguin, Mutant Penguin, Complicated Flamingo, and Fish—designed for completion on a minor burner, though demonstrations are shown on a major burner. Participants are encouraged to batch anneal their pieces after cooling, as this cost-effective approach provides valuable lessons about breakage/heat control and improves lampworking skill.
