Up-and-coming flameworker Serbay Doru, in collaboration with Zurich Glass School, offers an intermediate-level E-course video channel where participants can learn his unique soft glass techniques. Serbay, a visionary from Turkey, creates works that capture the spirit of the creatures he imitates and is poised to surpass Italian and American masters in this art form. The course includes tutorials on making a foiled Morpho butterfly, blown corals, sophisticated anemone, big leaves and flowers for montage work, a long-horned beetle, and a detailed silver fish. Participants will also learn how to mount their butterfly for display.
