Dr Julie is somewhat different from your average lampworker because she came to glass from an art background. Her desire to create technically excellent yet intellectually rich work is what drives her and she endeavours to pass these qualities on to her participants. Her passion is reflected her work and her attitude. She speaks about glass in the same way a chef speaks about food.
