Sunday Morning Glass School – Glass Art Society Demonstrators 2025

Runtime: Approximately 8 hours of demonstrations
Skill level: Beginner to Advanced

We are pleased to present the digital edition of Sunday Morning Glass School – Glass Art Society Demonstrators 2025 Edition, an exclusive collection of demonstrations recorded exclusively with Zurich Glass School during the 2025 Glass Art Society conference season.

This E-course brings together ten internationally respected glass artists working across functional glass, scientific glass, sculptural flameworking, borosilicate vessel making, contemporary pipe making, and botanical sculpture. Each artist offers a unique perspective on process, problem-solving, and material control, creating a rare opportunity to learn from a diverse range of approaches within a single course.

Designed for students ranging from enthusiastic beginners through to experienced professionals, the course explores both foundational techniques and highly advanced processes. Across more than eight hours of demonstrations, viewers will encounter a broad spectrum of working methods, artistic philosophies, and technical challenges.

Together they provide a broad overview of contemporary flameworking practice as it exists today.

Included with the course is a substantial library of supporting material, including Zurich Glass School's hand-drawn visual technical maps, student guides, demonstration notes, reference diagrams, and supplementary learning resources. These materials have been specifically developed to help students revisit techniques and reinforce learning away from the torch. The technical handouts cover topics ranging from goblet construction and pulling points to botanical forms, sculptural animals, condensers, functional pipes, and complex hollow forms.

This E-course can be completed entirely at your own pace. The demonstrations range from beginner through advanced and reflect the realities of working with glass. Expect challenges, adjustments, experimentation, repairs, and moments of discovery as part of the learning process.
