About Matt Durran
Matt Durran is an internationally recognised glass artist, curator and innovator whose work bridges contemporary art, sustainability, science and emerging technologies. A Trustee of the British Crafts Council and Executive Board member of the Glass Art Society, he has exhibited internationally, curated major exhibitions including the British Glass Biennale, collaborated with hospitals and universities on medical research, and pioneered projects exploring recycling, renewable energy and sustainable glass production. His work demonstrates how artists can become vital contributors to innovation across multiple disciplines.
