We would like to present infamous functional glass artist Salt from the USA.
This E-demo is designed for early learner / intermediate lampworkers/beadmakers interested in blown drinking vessels and sculpting off-mandrel. In this demo Salt demonstrates how to create a shot glass.
Salt's flameworking demo consists of learning how to pull points on heavy wall 32mm borosilicate tubing, how to add colour quickly without affecting the integrity of the shot glass whilst also giving the freedom to add in multiple design elements. Salt shows how to punty an elliptical base, open the shot glass, trim the lip, shape and remove from the punty.
