"Zurich Glass School founder Dr. Julie Anne Denton is originally from the Isle of Man, an island that nestles in between England & Ireland. This heritage rich isle is known as the jewel of the Celtic Kingdom. Her upbringing was steeped in such a rich historical heritage, it is where her unique artistic aesthetic is derived from. Her key themes are people, folklore, nature and counterculture. She has received worldwide recognition for her storytelling skills as an artist and her technical skills as a glassmaker."
